My Stay at Pagoda Manu Maharani – A Peaceful and Scenic Escape (2024)
In early 2024, I had the chance to stay at Pagoda Manu Maharani in Dhikuli, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable parts of my Corbett trip. The resort offers every facility you’d expect from a 4-star hotel—a clean swimming pool, spa, comfortable rooms, good food, and courteous staff.
What makes this place stand out is its amazing location. It’s situated right on NH 309, so it’s very easy to reach, but at the same time, it feels tucked away in nature. From the resort, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the surrounding hills, and since it’s right on the bank of the Kosi River, the atmosphere is truly peaceful.
During my stay, I was lucky enough to see a herd of elephants walking by the riverbank—a sight I’ll never forget. I also spotted deer and other small animals, which are quite common in the area.
If you’re visiting Jim Corbett and looking for a mix of luxury, nature, and scenic beauty, I highly recommend Pagoda Manu Maharani. 2024 gave me a peaceful escape here, and I’d love to return again.
